The main source of omega 3 fatty acids are fish and flax seeds. Omega 3 fatty acids are usually essential compounds which are required for a good health. They are particularly recommended for persons suffering from heart disease.

Hi All. Although it sounds reasonable and natural to eat fish, the truth is that more that 50% of fish eaten in developed countries is from animal farms. More farmed fish is on the market every day. This fish is fed on grains, not their natural diet, to get them fat as soon as possible. The end result a s sick fish raised with grains, antibiotics and hormones, not a healthy recipe.

That is why in the real world you should supplement with a high quality fish oil, especially if we are talking about children.
